New York, 5th Avenue, late 60s. James Kaplan and Gérard Courtin, passionate about fashion and music, launch a brand in their own image: Jacomo. The Jet Set immediately adopts their style.

True to their couture spirit, they launched their first fragrance, "Eau Cendrée" (1970), which became a bestseller. The line had been drawn, Jacomo had made its mark. This was followed by Silences (1978) and Jacomo de Jacomo (1980), now brand classics. Solid, then powerful, For Her (2005) and For Men (2007) enter the Jacomo story.
